They hate Ruto with a passion because he's disrupting the status quo...
Ladies and gentlemen, before Ruto, we lived in a country where...
1. It made economic sense to borrow close to 30bn to built the Thika Superhighway...but dualling of a Road from Nairobi to Malaba was seen as a waste of money.
Spending less than 50mins between Nairobi and Thika was considered important while saving thousands of Kenyans the pain of spending days on the road between Nairobi and Nakuru was a waste of resources.
2. An SGR to a bush in Suswa made more sense than one that connected Kenya to Uganda...
Yes, that's where the resources ended...for the people going to Western, a 1901 train was revived to crawl to Kisumu...anything better was a waste of money!
3. Dualling a road to Nyeri was seen as a priority while Nairobi Mombasa remained like a footpath...
They wondered what economic value will Kenya get by expanding roads in other regions.
That's the nonsense Ruto said no to...
Under Ruto, the "No economic sense" roads are being done and yes, the SGR will reach Malaba
And that, ladies and gentlemen, explains the bitterness you see around.
The agents and beneficiaries of the status quo are enraged!
Lakini, bado!
Kenya shall be developed EQUALLY!
And there is nothing anyone can do about it!
