THE CROWN OF THORNS BECAME A CROWN OF GLORY.

The instrument of His humiliation became the symbol of His triumph.

The thing pressed into His skull by mocking soldiers — the thing meant to add insult to the agony — became the image that billions of people across two thousand years have looked at and seen not humiliation but sacrifice. Not mockery but love. Not the worst of humanity but the best of God.

God has an extraordinary habit of taking the things meant for shame and making them symbols of glory.

Your crown of thorns — whatever has been pressed into your life that was meant to break you — is not the last word. The God who turned a crown of thorns into the most recognized symbol of love in history can do the same with yours.

"We see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor." — Hebrews 2:9

The people of Israel had been watching their nation collapse and were headed into the uncertainty of exile. Into this total darkness, the Almighty spoke:

"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." (Isaiah 41:10)

Notice what God didn't say. He didn't say, "Fear not, because the road ahead will be easy," or "Fear not, because the threat isn't real." He said, "Fear not, for I am with you."

The antidote to terror in a broken world isn't the absence of danger but the presence of the Living God. Whatever exile you’re in today - whether it’s anxiety, sudden loss, physical exhaustion, or uncertainty - your circumstances don't hold the throne, God does. The Creator of the universe stands in the fire next to you, and His decree is absolute: "Do not be afraid, for I am with you."

We do not know how many days God has written for us, but we can choose how we spend the days we have been given. May our lives draw us closer to Christ, our hearts remain faithful, and our souls be prepared to meet Him—not by fearing the end, but by learning to live each day for eternity.
