Service to others requires a lot of dedication, careful planning, considering all the details (big or small) a smile and a warm heart, (even when you are exhausted), timely communication and updates, accepting feedback (good and bad) and being willing to act on it, and always keeping in mind that every guest's needs matter, it is us to go out of our way.

Adventure is calling!!

Lake Elementaita is known for its white and pink flamingos, and so many bird species. We also discovered some hot water springs, that are heated by a dormant volcanic hill.

For the hikers, The Sleeping Warrior awaits! We spotted Ugali hill and Ugali Saucer hill as well. Yes, and buffalos too, hiding from the hot sun, but so close. The rangers were always by our side, lest we forgot we were in the wilderness 😁

A day spent in the wild leaves you feeling connected to nature and rejuvenated. We help organize such trips, during a refreshing stay at Merinja. We look forward to not only cooking ugali together, but climbing the hills as well.
