This is Fridah Jerop. In 2010, she walked out of school with a D+. Life moved on, responsibilities grew, and along the way she became a mother of two. Many would have buried their dreams there. Fridah didn’t.
Years later, she made the brave decision to go back to class through an adult education program. Balancing books, motherhood and real-life struggles was never easy, but she refused to give up.
Now, her story has changed. Fridah Jerop has scored a B- in the 2025 KCSE examinations, emerging the top student in her adult education centre. That result now qualifies her to pursue her long-held dream of becoming a nurse.
From a D+ to a B-, from giving up to rising again, Fridah’s journey is proof that it is never too late to rewrite your story. Congratulations, Fridah.👏
