Guarujá House - The house is be located in Iporanga, a condominium for beach houses on Guarujá, São Paulo’s coast city, approximately 120km east from the capital. This condo is inside a very well preserved and protected area of the original Atlantic Rainforest. To preserve the exuberance of this native forest the law permitted to occupy only 30% of the footprint of the ground plot surface.

In addition, the choice of materials guarantees its elegance, Brazilianness, and a certain simplicity, making it cozier and inviting.

Sui House - From the Latin expression Sui Generis, means that which is unique and original, even peculiar. This building was erected in just 20 days on the iconic garden of Palácio das Mangabeiras, in the capital of Minas Gerais, Brazil. There was a reverent respect for the environment as we tried to create a gentle dialogue between what was already there and what was introduced there. Thus synchronizing the landscape with the manmade.

Anaia Villa - The resort's character and growth unravel as the visitor traverses through the spaces and host of amenities. The modern and rectilinear forms of the resort serve as a brilliant canvas for more fluid forms within the property, such as the black spiral staircase within, the random pathways, the hammam and the plunge pool with a natural rock waterfall. This deviation encourages its guests to be at ease, relax and indulge. It makes this project a physical manifestation of Yin & Yang.

The RO Villa project is a study on contour and flexibility. Located on the top of almost 1 hectare plot, the villa building has views on its four sides. To the South is a long hill view towards the city and to the East, lush greeneries of pine trees waits. The main idea is to configure the placement of each room so that no room faces each other. By placing each rooms on an almost 45 degree angles, all rooms are shielded from the harsh Western sunlight whilst still having at least 2 point of views towards the pine trees, the mountain, and the hill.

IV Villa is a building located in a hillside area South of Surabaya. The design of the house is conceived from the pre-existing contour of the side. The 6.000 sqm site is flat at its peak and has a 270 degree views towards three neighboring mountain around the area.

Grey Palace is located in the suburbs of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. It is surrounded by Paddy fields, which makes the view the main focus of this house. The house consists of two floors, which are zoned as public and private areas. The three primary areas pantry, dining and living room are located on the 2nd floor, while the private area is on the first. The purpose of the public area on the 2nd floor was to create an outdoor terrace living so that people can experience the surrounding views with a higher perspective. In spite of the public area being located on the 2nd floor, the main entrance was designed with a foyer that acts as a transition between public and private access.

The Elevated Camp is a four-season lakeside retreat for a family of five and is comprised of a 2,733 s.f. residence and a 382 s.f. guest cabin, linked via an elevated boardwalk. The camp is located on the footprint of a prior cabin, allowing the new design to utilize the grandfathered footprint (required by local regulations) and limit the clearing of trees from the site. The clients requested that the camp be intimate and private for the family to enjoy one another, but also open to the site to actively engage and enjoy the natural surroundings.

Casa de Alisa is a two-story residence located in Nonthaburi, Thailand. Concrete, in its material and structural capacity, is the founding concept of this project. The spaces within are conceived purely by the structural concrete walls that frame and contain the interiority. These planes form an architecture that shelter the living spaces from the surrounding context while framing the ‘chosen’ nature and containing privacy within. Within, the sense of austerity is enhanced as these planes bound the concrete, water, and garden below and the sky above, together.
