ប៊ី ឧដ្ឋានវតី By Outhanvatey A mother and an entrepreneur Prior to the Covid Crisis, she devoted her time in managing RTR tours Co., Ltd that has established since 1996.

Outhanvatey is a Deputy Managing director of TM Tan Meng Co., Ltd established since 2013, and a founder of MT Property Development Co., Ltd. Outhanvatey also had been appointed and served as a Head of Strategy and Business Development in state-owned development bank of Cambodia, working closely with agriculture cooperatives and other key players in value chain finances. She has been selected by the US embassy in Cambodia to attend the Global Entrepreneur Summit in India with other 6 outstanding Cambodian women in 2017. She has also been invited as the only Cambodian woman among 23 other women entrepreneurs from different countries to join The International Visitor Leadership Program for 2017, in “ Women and Entrepreneurship” organised by the U.S. Department of State’s premier professional exchange program in Washington DC. Graduated in England in Business and financial management, finished a foundation year in Malaysia, been on an exchange program in Pairs during her high school and been a solo traveler since early age of 12 and been to more than 30 different countries around the world have allowed Outhanvatey to be very culturally diverse and have an exceptional soft skill of cross-cultural communications. Outhanvatey is actively involved in social activities, especially in promoting educations in remote area of Cambodia via renovating libraries and collecting reading books for less-fortunate Cambodian Children. She is a member and a former board of director of Junior Chamber Internationa (JCI), board member of Cambodia Women Entrepreneurs' Network (CamWEN) and Young Entrepreneur Association of Cambodia (YEAC).

រៀនរត់ ៦, ៧ ដង… ហើយចុងក្រោយ ខ្ញុំបានរត់ 10KM នៅសៀមរាប។ 🏃🏻‍♀️

អ្វីដែលគួរឱ្យចាប់អារម្មណ៍ពីការរត់ គឺពេលខ្លះ អ្វីដែលពិបាកបំផុត មិនមែនជារាងកាយទេ… តែជាចិត្តរបស់យើង។

មានពេលដែលជើងចាប់ផ្តើមធ្ងន់ ហើយខួរក្បាលប្រាប់ថា
“ល្មមហើយ ឈប់ទៅ…”

ប៉ុន្តែបើអាចបន្តបានបន្តិចទៀត យើងនឹងដឹងថា ខ្លួនយើងអាចធ្វើបានច្រើនជាងអ្វីដែលយើងគិត។

6 or 7 sessions of learning how to run.
And somehow, I ended up running 10KM in Siem Reap. 🏃🏻‍♀️

The funny thing about running is that your legs aren’t always the hardest part.

It’s that little voice in your head that says,
“You’ve had enough. Stop.”

Sometimes, running is simply learning not to listen to it.

10KM later, I realized I wasn’t really testing how far my body could go.
I was testing how long my mind was willing to keep going.

ប្រសិនបើខ្ញុំអាចត្រឡប់ទៅ ១៥ ឆ្នាំមុន នៅពេលដែលខ្ញុំចាប់ផ្តើមអាជីវកម្មដំបូង ខ្ញុំនឹងប្រាប់ខ្លួនឯងថា៖

តាំងពីថ្ងៃដំបូង ត្រូវមានគណនេយ្យករដែលមានសមត្ថភាពប្រឹក្សាហិរញ្ញវត្ថុ អ្នកណែនាំផ្នែកហិរញ្ញវត្ថុ និងទីប្រឹក្សាច្បាប់ដ៏ល្អម្នាក់។

15 years. Countless expensive lessons.

Lessons that cost me more than money: they cost time, relationships, and opportunities.

If I could go back 15 years to when I started my first business, I would tell my younger self one thing:

Get a really good accountant, financial advisor and legal advisor from day one.

Some lessons you can only learn through experience. But if you can learn them from someone else, save yourself the cost.
