I’m proud to announce the release of the Native State Of Mind soundpack available now on !

This project was curated as a way to help raise funds for Indigenous nonprofits during the pandemic. I’d like to thank every artist who donated their time energy and talent to help create this pack. It was done with positive intentions and respect. We partnered with and are donating half the proceeds to help raise funds that go directly to future growth of natives in media!

The Native State of Mind Sample includes traditional Native American instruments and chants from all four corners of Turtle Island for music & video producers around the world to use royalty-free in their music or video creations.

The pack includes vocals from Nelson Baker (Poundmaker Cree, Mandan, Hidatsa) , Lisa Muswagon (Nakoda Cree) , Spur Pourier (Oglala Lakota) , and Miracle Spotted Bear (Oglala Lakota) . Instruments include flutes and hand drums by Artson (Tarahumara, Raramuri) , Ayoytes shaker shells by PJ Vegas (Yoeme) , and track starts from (Comanche).

The IMC is pleased to announce we have added the first single off of PJ Vegas’s upcoming album SMOKE, “Pesos” honors the perseverance of his ancestors against injustice. The songs message encourages the awareness that the struggle in life is still very prevalent and that adversities still exist to overcome.

His father, Pat Vegas, led the Native American charge up the charts with the legendary band Redbone, the first indigenous band to ever hit the top 5 on The Billboard Hot 100.

PJ holds a lot of esteem for his father who he feels has fueled his own creative spirit. PJ is forging his own path, he’s already made his mark as one of the first Indigenous R&B singers to be recognized in the industry by MTV in 2017 (he won a VMA for “Best Video with a Message”), alerting mainstream to a Next Wave of Indigenous talent.

PJ Vegas is based Los Angeles, CA, and is best known for his sultry vocals, gritty beats and RnB influences.

The IMC welcomes his latest single “Pesos” to the chart this week!
