I went on a journey back in time this week.

Cambodia has a long and storied history, the most famous era being the majestic that left us the world’s largest religious complex - the UNESCO listed , which at its height, was likely the largest Capital city in the world.

The modern Golden Era was for sure the 1950s and 60s, with Cambodia the Southeast Asian epicentre of art, culture, pop and fashion… the Pearl of Sotheast Asia.

During this time, commissioned the construction of the iconic Independence Hotel. Designed by French architects, combined with engineering expertise, it’s a homage to Cambodia’s heritage 🇰🇭

Amazing work by OCIC ជ្រោយចង្វារ on the renovation, conservation and preservation of a big part of Cambodia’s history.

We're delighted to invite LHCC members and guests to a guided tour of the Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Phnom Penh — one of the most technically accomplished construction projects completed in Cambodia in recent years.

Constructed by one of Japan's largest construction companies, Takenaka Corporation, and project managed by COVA, come and join us on a tour of Cambodia's first Latter-Day-Saints temple.

This is a great opportunity for LHCC members and guests to see the project up close, connect with peers, and recognise the calibre of construction talent working in Cambodia today.

A fantastic fundraising event for Lighthouse Club - Cambodia raised US$2,000 for medical care for , which will greatly improve his mobility and help Phirum earn an income.
