Public Clarification & Tourist Information
We would like to respectfully correct the misleading information currently being shared.
The recent military tensions are limited strictly to certain border areas and do NOT involve Siem Reap city or its tourist zones. There is no fighting, no military activity, and no security threat within Siem Reap town, Angkor Wat, or surrounding tourist areas.
Siem Reap remains:
• ✅ Peaceful and fully secure
• ✅ Open to tourists
• ✅ Operating normally (airports, hotels, tours, restaurants, and transport)
All major tourist attractions, including Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Bayon, and city centers, are completely unaffected.
We kindly urge individuals and pages who shared exaggerated or inaccurate maps and reports to correct their information, as such misinformation can cause unnecessary fear and harm local communities that rely on tourism.
