In Vientiane, 12 month multiple entry LA-B2 visa + stay & work permit, if you work for a lao company, are a dependent (foreign spouse or child 18+) or retired (over 65, no work permit) or a digital nomad (any age no work permit).
3 and 6 month Visas are also available as well as 12 month Ni-B2 investor & SP-B3 mariage visa.
There is no need to cross the border if you are simply renewing a valid multiple entry visa. All other cases need to present a visa activation letter at a Lao border since 1/2/23
A mandatory insurance is also required for all new visas with border crossing unless you have an approved health insurance.
So if you are abroad with no visa or on a tourist visa you must cross the border / arrive with an activation letter which is charged separately and must be pre-paid: 7-10 needed days to process (first year / visa only)
We have a NO DOWN-PAYMENT policy for all visas, you pay once the visa is processed and receive a copy of all documents.
With these visas you are eligible to apply for a Lao bank account, a Lao drivers license and 6 month METV (Multiple entry tourist visa) to Thailand at the Thai consulate in Vientiane or Savannakhet:
We simply need a scan of your passport and an electronic ID/passport picture of you in order to start the process (plus company business & tax license + 2023 foreigner quota if you have an employer or your own company /OR/ your Lao mariage documents for SP-B3)
All visas take 10-14 days to process after we receive your passport with new arrival visa or current visa with booklet(s) if you are extending.
A company invoice is issued upon each request.
If you live outside Vientiane Capital, please note additional more pay per visa for local taxes & forms; let us know so we can remote manage & reduce your travels / all work permits are stamped in the province where you reside.
