Just the idea that on these festive and sacred days ... the massacre continues ...

It tells you something of the monsters living among us ... and they have no mercy ...

The world shall never forgive them ... it did not through out history...

May this Christmas 🎄 be merry for all mankind and may we be free from this evil ....

We are all hearing about the difficulties people are having to pay their bills of fuel, food, electricity and daily needs in our beloved town. I would like to contribute and help by selling my book in the French version and donating all proceeds to charity in Marjeyoun.

What is more meaningful than a special book about Marjeyounee food for Christmas? I am pretty sure that many of you have friends who are francophone, and who will be delighted to read about our town’s history, and taste its exquisite food. As I don’t have any English to offer at the moment, only “Le Goût de Marjeyoun “ is available.

For only 200,000 L.L (less that 10 $) you can bring a smile in this holiday season.

Copies at bookstores in Lebanon are not part of this campaign, only Books purchased directly at Bayoud Offices in Hamra.

Please share and spread the word!

Have a blessed holiday season, and stay safe!

Against all odds and with everything going on in the world and in Lebanon, Bayoud Executive had the honor to witness in 2021 not just four doctors graduating from AUB but also another young gentleman Jad Marrouche graduating from ACS and heading to America seeking his medical degree!

What are the odds! ❤️❤️❤️

Jad from all of us here at Bayoud, management, tenants and teams would like to congratulate you for your brilliant achievements! I am sure your parents are so proud of you and we are too!

God bless you and good luck in your amazing journey!

Bayoud Executive family had the unique opportunity to have the 4 doctors stay with us for four years and that we provided them with much needed peace and comfort in their learning journey!

On the 23rd of August 2020, we lost a staff member, a dearest one to all at Bayoud Residence.

Leila, she who was always quiet and polite in her own way, she who was always trustworthy, she who was always dedicated to work and she who had a kind heart and smiling one too.

We at Bayoud were saddened to hear the news that Leila lost her battle with cancer upon arrival to her homeland Sri Lanka. A woman who throughout her life endured numerous challenges and always was able to soldier on and provide for her family.

Many of us here at Bayoud knew her personally and her kindness was well admired among our staff and tenants. She will be greatly missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Leila's family may she rest in eternal peace.

On August 4th, a horrific explosion at the port of Beirut, Lebanon, killed over 170 people, injured over 5000 and displaced more than 300.000. This tragedy that hit the heart of Beirut has left a deep wound in a country already suffering from the worst economic crisis in its recent history. The people of Beirut have suffered horrendous losses; many lost family members, their homes or livelihoods. Many need our help.

I am hosting my first online cooking class on Sunday August 30, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. EST | 6 p.m. CET, to raise money for Beit el Baraka, a None-Governmental (NGO), Nonprofit charity Organization based in Beirut.

Why Beit el Baraka?
The house of blessings, as its name implies in Arabic, has been originally supporting Lebanese families and retirees with their basic needs and rights. Their initial mission has been to ensure a sense of dignity to hard-working citizens once they retire by assisting them with their daily struggle to make ends meet.
After the tragedy of August 4, they expanded their mission to serve devastated families by galvanizing a large team of volunteers to provide food and medical support, and help in repairing homes in the affected neighborhoods close to the port.

How to donate and register for the course:
A minimum donation of US$20 per person is kindly required to participate. Please donate directly on Beit el Baraka’s website: https://www.beitelbaraka.org/

Once you have donated send an email to [email protected] to register for the course. You will then receive the details for the zoom cooking class as well as the recipes if you would like to cook along with me.

Thank you for your support!
