Chabrouh Dam was inaugurated in 2007, holds 8 million cubic meters of water, and rises to 63 m high. It provides potable water to Kesrouan, Metn, and Jbeil areas.

Next time you plan a visit to Faraya, bring your hiking shoes and enjoy a 50 min trail from Nabaa el Aassal up to the dam.
It is a must hike and the view from the top is not to be missed!
