Located on the prestigious Hreysheh hill in Northern Lebanon, 10 Km away from the center of Tripoli, Seaview village overlooks the picturesque Mediterranean Sea on one side and the glorious Balamand Mountain on the other. Suggesting a lifestyle of both entertainment and relaxation, Seaview Village includes a common swimming pool, cafeteria, gym facilities, saunas, Jacuzzis, a mini basketball/volle
yball court, as well as a playground for kids. Four sizes of villas are available (approx. 270 m^2, 415 m^2, 460 m^2, and 500 m^2) to allow for three, four or five bedrooms. They are grouped in pairs or groups of three to minimize density and repetition across the whole site. The landscape is conceived as a continuous terraced slope with the bases of the villas as scattered objects on its surface. The luxurious villas are designed as independent units, based on an open-plan style of housing. The ground floor addresses a wide garden and a swimming pool towards the back as extensions of the interior spaces, while the upper floor contains a loggia with unobstructed views to the sea. The lower floor of the villa is treated in a solid stone to suggest a rocky base; it is then covered with a concrete shelter that works as a protective cover from the weather conditions. The vast openings create a framed, living image of the world outside. Meanwhile, the choices of wood and natural stone maintain warmth and intimacy. The inspired architectural design gives the project a distinct character; and a contemporary style in a minimalist outline. Architect: Farah Al Attrash
