Allegations of Contract Impropriety and Labor Exploitation at LTA.

Credible sources are raising concerns over a security services contract awarded to PROSECOM Security, a firm allegedly linked to former political figure Saah Gbollie. The controversy centers on claims of political influence and the subsequent mistreatment of staff.

Reports suggest that the contract was facilitated by Commissioner Ben A. Fofana of the Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA). Critics allege this is part of a broader political maneuver by Fofana, Gbollie, and former lawmaker Roland Kaine to consolidate a political alliance aimed at challenging Senator James Emmanuel Nuquay in the upcoming 2029 Margibi County senatorial race.

Despite alleged confirmation from internal sources that the LTA has disbursed funds to the contractor, significant labor issues have emerged:

Numerous security personnel assigned to the LTA have reportedly gone approximately three months without pay.

Three officers—two males and one female—were allegedly dismissed after attempting to seek clarification regarding their outstanding salary arrears.

These allegations highlight potential governance and labor violations that warrant further investigation, particularly given the LTA's history of scrutiny regarding its procurement and contracting processes.

MFSMN Launches to Support Senator Nuquay's Re-Election Bid

Margibi County – A new grassroots political movement, the Margibi First Son Media Network (MFSMN), has officially been launched to support the re-election of Senator James Emmanuel Nuquay and promote continued development across Margibi County.

According to the network's leadership, MFSMN brings together supporters, advocates, and citizens who believe in Senator Nuquay's leadership and commitment to the people of Margibi. The group says it aims to highlight the senator's achievements, mobilize communities, and advocate for sustained progress and effective representation.

Operating under the slogans "Nuk Our Own!" and "Margibi First Son!", the network is calling on sons and daughters of Margibi, as well as friends and well-wishers, to join the movement in advancing the county's development agenda.

The announcement was signed by Acting Executive Secretary Daniel Vah and approved by Acting Executive Chair Fred Joemah.
