Happy National Unification Day To The Great People Of Zorzor and Salayea Districts, Lofa and Liberia

To the great people's of District #5, Lofa County, and to all Liberians at home and abroad. Today we celebrate the strength that comes when we stand together as one people. Let this day remind us that our differences in tribe, clan, and party should never be greater than our shared identity as Liberians.

As we celebrate, I call on all of us in Zorlayea, across Lofa County, and throughout Liberia to put our communities and our country first. Let us set aside personal gain and political division, and work together for peace, development, and unity. When Zorlayea grows, Lofa grows. When Lofa grows, Liberia grows. May we choose unity today and every day, so that the next generation inherits a stronger and more united nation.

There are bigger story to focus on rather than taking your whole time and energy to discuss Strom removing roof over a mini sport stadium renovated by us for the young people of the district.

Our focus are Community Development, youth empowerment, women empowerment, unity among citizens.

District #5 for development and transportation!

Hon. Jesse B. Korboi Fulfills Pledge, Donates Trophies and Medals to Zorzor & Salayea Third Division League

Zorzor, Lofa County – Hon. Jesse B. Korboi, has fulfilled his pledge to support grassroots football by providing 4 trophies and 50 medals for winners of the just-ended Third Division League in Zorzor and Salayea Districts. The league was organized by the Liberia Football Association (LFA) through the Zorzor Sub-Committee.

The trophies and medals were presented on behalf of Hon. Korboi by Mr. Edmond K. Massaquoi, Zorzor District Chairman of Team Jesse Korboi. The awards honored first and second place teams, as well as the Highest Goal Scorer and the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament.

During the presentation, Mr. Massaquoi praised Hon. Korboi’s commitment to sports development. “Hon. Korboi is one man who loves sports and knows the role sports play among young people and the community as a whole,” Mr. Massaquoi stated. He emphasized the unifying power of sports, adding, “Sports unite us. It brings us together regardless of who you are, the dialect you speak, your religion or your political affiliation.”

The gesture was warmly received by Mr.Tokpah B. Blame Chairman of the LFA Zorzor Sub-Committee and participating club teams, who thanked Hon. Korboi for honoring his commitment and for his continued support of sports development in Zorzor and Salayea Districts.

Players, coaches, and community members welcomed the donation, describing it as timely encouragement for local talent. Many said Hon. Korboi’s gesture shows true leadership and a deep investment in youth development across Lofa County’s District #5.
