Colin’s Legacy 🏡

Rip-out DONE! A whole week of hard work, but we’ve finally got there. 💪

We wanted to get stuck in ourselves with this part of the project — partly to make it feel more personal, but also because doing the jobs we can ourselves helps keep the costs down and, ultimately, protects the profit.

Taking everything out was hard work, but so satisfying. It feels like the first real step towards unlocking this house’s full potential. It’s such a lonely space at the moment, but seeing it as an empty shell has made it so much easier to visualise the end goal.

We’ve:
🔨 Opened up the wall between the kitchen and living area — French doors will eventually bring in even more light.
🔨 Opened up the hallway to create a greater sense of space, whilst still keeping the storage we need.
🔥 Removed the old back boiler from the fireplace.

This week has been all about 1st fix electrics, plumbing and some plastering, with the windows and new doors still to arrive.

And here’s the BIG challenge… 😅

This is a huge full renovation, and we’ve given ourselves just 8 weeks to turn it around!

First job on Colin’s Legacy... tackle the jungle! 🌿😂

We spent two days in absolutely boiling heat battling bushes, trees, brambles and goodness knows what else. At one point I think the garden was winning! 🤣

Sean had every tool imaginable out and was in his element. We ended up with a mountain of greenery piled at the front, ready for the grabber to come and rescue us.

The best part? We could finally see the house... and actually walk to the front door without needing a machete! 🌳➡️🏡

Then the skip arrived! 🚛

Am I the only one who finds filling a skip strangely satisfying? 😂 There’s definitely an art to it! I treated it like a giant game of Tetris, carefully packing every last branch and bit of rubbish.

I was confidently told we’d need three skips... but thanks to my championship-level skip-stacking skills, we got the whole lot into one! 💪😂

Who knew skip packing would become one of my hidden talents? I think I deserve an Olympic medal... or at least a Aperol ! 🍹🤣

One very overgrown garden down... and one step closer to bringing Colin’s Legacy back to life. ❤️🏡

🏡 Welcome to my first Auction win — Colin’s Legacy! 🏡

After dashing over to see this house, I just knew it was meant to be. I absolutely love the street — it’s one of those “buy until you die” streets, where neighbours have lived for 40 years and generations of families have stayed. That says so much about an area! ❤️

I immediately saw the potential in this house to create a fabulous, warm family home with real character and desirability.

And here’s the crazy part… I didn’t even view the inside before winning the house! 😱

I based my figures on extensive research into the area, the comparable properties and, most importantly, what I believed I could do to add value and desirability to this home.

After winning the auction, I also managed to renegotiate a further £23,000 off the winning bid — a result I was absolutely delighted with! 🙌

The legal pack was turned around within a day, and now the exciting part begins…

I’m so excited to get started on Colin’s Legacy and bring my vision to life. The goal? To transform it into a beautiful, welcoming family home that feels warm, stylish and full of life. 🏡✨

🎬 What an exciting day! 🏡✨

Today was a very exciting day as my new project, Colin’s Legacy, was filmed for Homes Under the Hammer! 🎥🏡

The team were absolutely lovely and made me feel so relaxed. It was fantastic to show them around the house, explain my ideas and share the vision I have for bringing this property back to life.

The house has now been filmed pre-renovation, and the crew will be returning once the renovation is complete to capture the finished transformation. 😍

There’s a LOT of work ahead, but seeing the starting point and knowing what I have planned makes it even more exciting. I can’t wait to watch this journey unfold and eventually see the finished result on screen.

From auction purchase to renovation, restoration and hopefully a whole new chapter for Colin’s Legacy… this is going to be one hell of a journey! ❤️🔨🏡

Nothing beats that first visit after completion. 🔑

Getting the keys today is a huge milestone. Although we bought this property at auction, the legal process seemed to take forever, leaving us well behind schedule. But that's all behind us now.

Onwards and upwards! We're excited to finally get started and bring Colin's Legacy back to life, creating something truly special once again.

And there's even more exciting news... we're planning to apply for a well-known UK TV show, so watch this space... 😉🏡✨

🏎️✨ Monaco F1 2026 ✨🏎️

What an unforgettable trip! The Monaco F1 Grand Prix has always been on my bucket list, and this year we were lucky enough to experience it for Sean’s birthday. 🎉

From watching the action trackside from a yacht in Monaco Harbour to experiencing the atmosphere from the iconic La Rascasse corner, every moment was simply incredible. The energy, the excitement, and the glamour of Monaco truly lived up to everything we had imagined.

We met some truly inspiring people and made connections that will stay with us long after the chequered flag. Events like this remind you of the importance of surrounding yourself with ambitious, successful people. It’s inspiring, motivating, and a great reminder that with hard work, determination, and the right mindset, anything is possible.

We feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity and have come away feeling more driven than ever. Experiences like these don’t just create memories—they inspire bigger dreams and even greater goals.
