“Safran cafe” on Stefan cel Mare 6 is open daily 10 am till midnight. They serve breakfast and other meals through the day. Nice atmosphere and good food.

New budget airline is opened in Moldova. FlyOne runs flights to/from Lisbon, Birmingham, Dublin, Moscow, Paris, Parma, St Petersburg, Verona and Voronezh. Their office is located a couple of minutes walk from out apartment. Very handy if you need help with your tickets or check in

Trolley bus is a very convenient environmentally friendly way of getting around Chisinau. There’s a stop outside the flat with connections to train station, Botanica area, city center, Telecentru, Buiucani. Ride cost is 2 Moldovan lei (10 cents €/pence £).

Daily train connects Odessa with Chisinau via Transdniestr (Tiraspol and Bender). Very comfortable train. We made the journey from Tiraspol to Chisinau in 1 hour and 20 minutes with no border checks at Transdniestr.
