Ko Aung Paing (Mr.Myo) was born and raised here in Mandalay. He is definitely a true native of Mandalay.
He went to Mandalay University and earned his bachelor degree in Zoology. He also earned his diploma in Business Law while working for global pharmaceutical companies before investing himself in real estate.
He climbed the corporate ladder and became a sale & marketing manager for upper Myanmar at Wockhardt. Wockhardt is an India's global pharmaceutical and biotechnology company.
He also held a successful senior sale & marketing position at global pharmaceutical companies such as Diethelm & Co Ltd (Switzerland) and Kalbe Pharma (Indonesia).
While he worked for those global pharmaceutical companies, he noticed physicians, merchants, jewelers and other groups of his client needed help with managing their real estate. He studied the real estate business starting from the year 2005 then gradually transition into real estate. He used his business law knowledge and transferrable skills from global pharmaceutical companies to help clients' real estate needs.
He works with integrity and pays attention to details of every transaction. He works together with a trusted lawyer and helps out many clients through out his career of 18 years. His real estate closings include properties worth up to 3 millions USD. He also helps finding offices and rental homes for NGO's professionals from England, Portugal, Australia, Bhutan and China.
He encountered Vipassana meditation as taught by Sayagyi S.N. Goenka in the tradition of Sayagyi U Ba Khin then took the first 10-day course in 2012. He meditates in the morning and in the evening. His work ethic is based on mental balance and empathy which he gains from practicing Vipassana. We definitely need these skills in today world.
