"The Deer and His Image"(သမင်နဲ့သူ၏ပုံရိပ်)
✍️A deer told himself every day, “I am the most handsome deer in the forest.
သမင်သည်သူ့ကိုယ့်သူ ငါကဒီသစ်တောထဲမှာအချောဆုံးသမင်တစ်ကောင်ဖြစ်တယ်လို့နေ့တိုင်းပြောနေလို့ရှိတယ်
✍️My large chest is a symbol of my power.
ငါ့ရဲ့ကြီးမားသောရင်အုပ်သည် စွမ်းအား၏အမှတ်အသားတခုလည််းဖြစ်တယ်
✍️And my beautiful horns impress other animals.”
လှပသောဂြိုလ်သည်တခြားသောတိရစ္ဆာန်တွေကိုစွဲဆောင်စေတယ်
✍️But he did not like his legs and hooves*.
ဒါပေမဲ့သူ၏ခြေထောက်နဲ့ခွာကိုတော့မနှစ်မြို့ဘူး
✍️“My legs are narrow, and my hooves are ugly. They do not satisfy me.”
ခြေထောက်လေးကသေးပြီး ခွာကကြည့်မကောင်းဘူး
အဲ့ဒီအရာတွေသည် ငါ့ကို အားရကျေနပ်မူမရစေဘူး
✍️One day, the deer saw a big dog.
တစ်နေ့တော့ သမင်သည် ကြီးမားသောအမဲလိုက်ခွေးတစ်ကောင်ကိုတွေ့တယ်
✍️The deer made some noise and disturbed the dog.
သမင်သည် ဆူဆူညံညံလုပ်ပြီးခွေးကိုသွားနှောက်ယှက်တယ်
✍️The dog woke up and chased him.
ခွေးကနိုးပြီး သမင်နောက်ကိုလိုက်တယ်
✍️The deer felt terror.He screamed.
သမင်သည်ကြောက်ပြီးအသံကုန်ခြစ်ပြီးအော်တယ်
✍️He did not want to be a victim, so he ran into the forest.
သူသည်သားကောင်မဖြစ်ချင်ဘူး ဒါကြောင့် သစ်တောထဲကိုပြေးတယ်
✍️His strong legs helped him run fast.
သူ့ရဲ့သန်မာခြေချောင်းလေးတွေကမြန်မြန်ပြေးအောင်ကူညီပေးတယ်
✍️His pale brown hooves were hard, so they were not sensitive to rough rocks.
သူ့ရဲ့ ဖျော့တော့တော့အညိုရောင်ခွာလေးတွေကမာကြောပြီး ကြမ်းတမ်းသောကျောက်ခဲကျောက်စိုင်တွေကိုမမူ့ဘူး
✍️However, his horns got caught in branches, slowing him down.
သို့သော်လည်းပဲ သူ၏ဂြိုလ်တွေကအကိုင်းတွေမှာညှိ့နေပြီးသူ့ကိုနှေးသွားအောင်လုပ်တယ်
✍️His large chest could not fit between thick trees.
သူ၏ကြီးမားသောရင်အုပ်သည်ထူသောသစ်ပင်တွေကြားထဲဝင်မဆံ့နိုင်ဘူး
✍️The deer estimated that he ran for an hour.
သမင်သည် တစ်နာရီလောက်ပြေးခဲ့တယ်ဆိုတာကိုအကြမ်းမျဥ်းသိတယ်
✍️He felt like he was running a marathon.
သူသည်အပြေးပြိုင်ပွဲတစ်ခုမှာပြေးခဲ့သလိုမျိုးခံစားရတယ်
✍️In the end, the deer escaped the threat of the dog.
နောက်ဆုံးတော့သမင်သည် ခွေး၏ရန်ကမေလွတ်မြောက်သွားပါတယ်
✍️He sat in the shade of a tree.
သူသည်သစ်ပင်ရိပ်တခုအောက်မှာထိုင်လိုက်တယ်
✍️“That was almost a disaster! I almost did not escape because of my chest and horns.
ဒါသည် ကြီးမားသောအန္တာရယ်တခုဖြစ်တယ်
ငါ့ရဲ့ရင်အုပ်နဲ့ဂြိုလ်ကြောင့်တော့လုံးဝလွတ်မြောက်နိုင်မှာမဟုတ်ဘူး
✍️ My legs and hooves saved me.”
ငါ့ရဲ့ခြေထောက်တွေနဲ့ခွာတွေကငါ့ကိုကယ်တင်လိုက်တာ
✍️As a consequence, the deer learned to honor his fast legs and have confidence in his strong hooves.
ရလဒ်အနေနဲ့ကတော့ သမင်သည် သူ့ရဲ့လျင်မြန်စွာပြေးနိုင်သောခြေထောက်တွေကိုဂုဏ်ယူပြီး သူ့ရဲ့သန်မာသောခွာလေးတွေကို ပြည့်ပြည့်ဝဝယုံကြည်မူရှိလာခဲ့တယ်
✍️ “Pretty things only supplement important things,” he thought.
လှပသောအရာတွေသည် အရေးကြီးသောအရာတွေကို အပိုဆောင်းဖြည့်စွက်ပေးရုံသာရှိတယ်လို့ သူကထင်တယ်
