Malta residents or valid work permit holders only
🧹 Work Experience
-2–3+ years of experience in professional cleaning or housekeeping.
-Previous experience supervising or leading a cleaning team.
-Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or facility cleaning is an advantage.
-Experience managing cleaning schedules, staff duties, and cleaning supplies.
🧽 Cleaning & Technical Skills
-Good knowledge of professional cleaning methods, equipment, and chemicals.
-Understanding of correct chemical handling, dilution, storage, and labeling.
-Knowledge of cleaning standards and hygiene requirements.
-Ability to operate and oversee the use of cleaning equipment and machinery.
-Understanding of infection control and sanitation procedures where applicable.
-Ability to inspect areas and identify cleaning or maintenance issues.
-Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental procedures.
👥 Supervisory Skills
-Ability to lead, train, motivate, and supervise cleaning staff.
-Allocate daily tasks and ensure adequate staff coverage.
-Prepare and manage cleaning schedules and staff rotas.
-Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and performance.
-Carry out regular quality inspections.
-Provide feedback and coaching to cleaning employees.
-Manage complaints and resolve cleaning-related issues professionally.
-Coordinate with clients, management, and other departments.
📦 Inventory & Administration
-Monitor cleaning products, equipment, uniforms, and consumables.
-Maintain appropriate stock levels and request supplies when required.
-Reduce unnecessary waste and control cleaning costs.
-Maintain cleaning checklists, inspection records, and staff records.
-Prepare basic reports for management.
-Report damaged equipment, hazards, or facility issues promptly.

-Knowledge of applicable workplace health and safety regulations.
-Good level of spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage where relevant.
