A very windy sunset this evening! You could feel and see mother nature's full force all around. We didnt get too close, some of the waves were 10ft in the air. We never miss a sunset at Dwejra when in Gozo.
Its a must see.

Out and about in Għajnsielem. Our little town is the first point of call after you jump off the ferry. Featuring a very impressive church and some lovely restaurants, bars and shops to keep you topped up during your stay.

Plenty of bus stops on the main artery road through the island and only 15mins to Victoria on the 301 bus, which stops 5mins from the apartment.

Its looking a little blustery out there today. So the Gozo ferry is taking its route to the left of Comino island for a little shelter from the wind. We can usually see the ferries crossing from the balcony. Not today.

Christmas has landed in Għajnsielem! How incredible are the festive decorations!
A wonderful use of glass bottles, so creative and I'm sure they are going to look simply spectacular when all lit up!

We found this beautiful Maltese blown glass mini vase in a charity shop in the UK and decided to return it to the islands from which it came.
Now it sits proudly at the apartment in the lounge area.
Malta has a long history of glass production.
This particular vase colour is so symbolise the land, sky and sea, which it does perfectly.
Will you bring some of Maltas famous glass home with you after you visit?
