JOB VACANCY - SITE MANAGER
BEDZZZ

The Company is seeking to recruit a Site Manager who shall be primarily responsible for the finishing stages of its development projects and shall work both on site and from the office.

The responsibilities of this role will include but will not be limited to:

- Providing management insight and supervision during the finishing phases of the project and ensuring that works are progressing in accordance with the agreed specifications, good workmanship and within stipulated timeframes.
- Coordination and direct liaison with service providers deployed at various sites of the Company.
- Seeing to any reported shortcomings, including immediately rectifying any safety violations.
- Liaison with internal/external architects, works managers and engineers regarding any enquiries and/or requests and/or changes relating to the developments.
- Carrying out furniture layouts using AutoCAD.
- Determining the quantities required for projected finishes works, drawing up bills of quantities, programmes of works, supplier contracts and obtaining quotes from various sub-contractors at selection stage.
- Reviewing the finishing phase of all projects and monitoring that works are progressing in line with program of works (and providing period reports to his/her superiors).
- Measurement of finishing works on site.
- Providing timely and constructive feedback to all direct reports as and when required either formally or informally.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

The ideal candidate should:

- Have a minimum of 24 months experience in a similar role
- Well versed in AutoCAD and MS Excel
- Knowledge of quantity surveying
- Be motivated and able to work on his/her own initiate, unsupervised and part of a team whilst adhering to deadlines
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, able to multi-task and an eye for detail
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Clean driving license and police conduct report
- Valid working permit (in force)

JOB VACANCY - General Maintenance Operative

Position: Responsible for the basic maintenance, general upkeep, and preventative checks of long let apartments

Summary:

The General Maintenance Operative role is customer centred with responsibilities surrounding new and existing tenants, feedback from current tenants and solution handling.

The General Maintenance Operative’s responsibilities include basic troubleshooting and managing preventive maintenance by coordinating repairs and when needed, liaising with external service providers.

The successful candidate is also responsible for coordinating with the housekeepers, ensuring that tasks of the day are being carried out.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Primary troubleshooting of any faults within the apartments.
• Carrying out repairs, maintenance, and general upkeep of apartments.
• Liaising with suppliers are service providers.
• Keeping customer satisfaction at the core of all services offered.
• Managing water and electricity readings.
• Supporting tenants in using electronic key and maintaining the electronic access system.
• Managing of laundry & consumables.
• Monitoring and ex*****on of preventive maintenance.
• Assisting in proper ex*****on and recording of data of the Company’s SOPs related to ISO.
• Inspection of apartments.
• Preparation of apartments for new tenants.

The ideal candidate should:

- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Be motivated and able to work on his/her own initiative, unsupervised and part of a team whilst adhering to deadlines.
- Maintenance repair skills. Knowledge of Water and Electricity maintenance will be considered an asset.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and able to multi-task.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Clean driving license and police conduct report.

We are looking for a BREAKFAST / JUNIOR CHEF to join our dynamic team

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

- Preparing hot and cold dishes including breakfast and light meals
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, safety and sanitation policies
- Ensuring that all kitchen / restaurant staff are aware of dietary requirements, food allergies, food hygiene and policies
- Monitoring food portioning, food cost and waste control
- Knowledge of all items on menus
- Stocking and setting up kitchen and stations
- Washing, disinfecting, and cleaning the kitchen counters, fridges, cooker, and utensils, and storing the equipment at the end of shifts.

As a MAID, you will be responsible for performing routine cleaning duties of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring that these are kept to the highest of standards as required by the IBIS Styles brand

We are seeking to recruit a Finance Executive to join our dynamic team and compliment the growing business of the group.
Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
• Processing of day-to-day records such as postings, reconciliations, receivables and payables, bank payments and deposits, payroll, maintenance of internal records, etc
• Assistance with the preparation of management accounts of various companies on a regular basis
• Assistance with the preparation of regulatory returns
• Office administration work including inward mail processing and filing
• Assisting in specific assignments and projects as assigned by management
• Contributing to the overall efficiency of the Accounts Department
• Other duties as assigned by management
The ideal candidate should:
• Have previous experience in a similar role of at least 24 months (Previous experience in a property development / construction / hospitality environment will be considered an asset)
• Hold an ‘A’ level qualification in Accounting as a minimum
• Well-versed in the use of Microsoft Office applications (particularly MS Excel) and SAGE
• Fluent in English and/or Maltese
• Methodical, adaptable, and capable of constantly delivering accurate information within given deadlines
• Motivated, able to work unsupervised and part of team
