Mġarr is preparing to host this year’s edition of Festa Frawli on Sunday 12th April, with the annual event once again set to centre around the strawberry season.

Held in the village square, the event is expected to feature fresh strawberries supplied by local farmers, along with a variety of food, desserts, and other products linked to the fruit.

This year’s programme will also include live cooking sessions by chefs Renzo and Anton Curmi, children’s activities, organised walks around places of interest in Mġarr, and entertainment on the main stage.

Visitors will also be able to access the Ħaġrat and Skorba Temples at a reduced price during the event.

Festa Frawli has long been one of Mġarr’s best-known annual events, drawing visitors during the spring season as the village celebrates one of its most closely associated local products.

All Maypole outlets will be opening regular hours tomorrow, 3rd April, during Good Friday

Only Valletta and Zejtun have adjusted hours as follows:
Valletta closing early at 3pm on 3rd April (Good Friday) and 5th April (Easter Sunday)
Zejtun opening late till 11:30pm on 3rd April (Good Friday)
