Our company recently completed this project.

We handled all surveying tasks, including topographic surveys at the design stage, construction staking out during excavation and construction.

This new section of the terminal building was constructed as part of Malta International Airport’s terminal expansion plans, the first phase of which will be winding up soon as we prepare to transition into other exciting projects.

As-Built Survey - Collecting data of an existing building involves measuring and documenting the current physical characteristics and features of the structure. This includes the building’s dimensions, layout, elevations, and the location of key elements such as walls, doors, windows, beams and arches. We as surveyors may also identify any discrepancies between the as-built conditions and the original design plans.

The importance of this process lies in its ability to provide accurate, up-to-date information about a building's current state. This is crucial for a variety of purposes, including property renovation or remodeling projects and minor amendments.

Material Volumes - We gather precise data on land dimensions, including elevation changes and contours. By analyzing this data, we calculate the volumes of materials like soil, loose material and rock excavated. These calculations help ensure that the project is excavating the right amount of materials, minimizing waste and expenses.
