If you’re visiting Valletta, make sure to book a table at Ortygia—it’s truly one of our favorite dining spots in the city.

We’ve been there many times, and the experience is always exceptional. The owners, Giancarlo and his wife, create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere while maintaining a high level of professionalism. You can really feel their passion for both hospitality and great food.

The restaurant is conveniently located on Straight Street, adding to its charm and accessibility. Every dish we’ve tried has been delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented (as you can see in the photo!). The flavors are authentic and consistently impressive.

A special mention goes to their cannoli—they’re absolutely unforgettable and a must-try.

We regularly recommend Ortygia to all our guests at Valletta Apartments 19, as well as to friends and family, and the feedback is always fantastic.

Just one tip: be sure to book in advance, as the restaurant is very popular—and for good reason.
