It’s Monday – the start of a new week, which often means more hassle and more issues to solve.

One common issue I’ve noticed is how many people treat a water pump problem as an emergency. When the pump stops working, they suddenly have very low water pressure. This often happens because they don’t have a proper bypass system in place a way to switch over to government (mains) or a tank system without the pump.

To avoid this kind of issues, make sure your home has the right setup. With a few correctly installed valves, you can bypass the pump entirely in case of failure, and still have water flowing by simply turning the right valves on or off.

Time for another tip!

Today, I want to talk about water quality and how important it is for protecting your appliances like dishwashers, mixers ecc ecc. I've seen many people posting about issues with faulty appliances and poor water quality.

Whenever I install a new water tank, I always recommend installing a 3-stage filtration system before the water enters the tank. This helps clean the water and reduces the buildup of dirt and particles that can damage your equipment.

As you’ll see in the photos, The difference is clear! It’s not an expensive and you can even change the filters yourself.

Hello everyone!
Time for another quick tip to help you avoid damage and save on hot water!

Did you know that some water pipes are resistant to UV rays, and some are not? If a pipe is exposed to direct sunlight for a long time, the UV rays can damage the pipe itself. Even worse, grass or algae can start growing inside the pipe, which may block water flow or damage your mixers.

To prevent this, make sure your pipes are UV-protected, or installed inside proper outdoor trunking. But the best option is to insulate them.

Here in Malta, the sun’s UV rays are very strong. Insulating your water pipes will help in summer by keeping the water from getting too hot, and in winter, it helps retain the heat from your water heater—so you're not wasting energy due to outdoor exposure.
