🎀 𝗔 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗸. 𝗔 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴.

This Pink October, FRCI team members came together in pink to show their support for breast cancer awareness. 🩷

As part of our wellbeing initiatives, we kicked off Pink October by distributing pink ribbons to our team members and visitors to raise awareness of breast cancer. We were honoured to have the support of a team member and her close family member, who kindly handmade the ribbons as a beautiful gesture of solidarity and support for women.

We also organised an on-site breast cancer screening session in collaboration with Breast Cancer Care, with the presence of Dr Sharmila Rose Mootoosamy. The initiative was open to both women and men, reinforcing the importance of awareness, prevention, and early detection.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making this initiative meaningful and helping us promote a culture of care and wellbeing at FRCI.

Thank you to Dr Mootoosamy and everyone who joined this moment of awareness, support and care.

🔹𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 – Not everyone needs access to everything. Make sure your information follows the same rule.

🔹𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 – You cannot protect what you cannot see. Gain visibility and control over your critical data.

𝐈𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐤.
Phishing remains one of the most common ways cyber attackers gain access to an organisation.

During 𝐂𝐲𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡, FRCI is highlighting the actions businesses can take to reduce their exposure.
For phishing, prevention starts with two essentials:
🔹 𝐔𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 – helping employees recognise suspicious e-mails and behaviours.
🔹 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐞-𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 – strengthening protection against malicious messages, links and attachments.
Because the best time to identify a vulnerability is before someone clicks.
