HOW TO START A CEMENT BLOCK BUSINESS SMALL!!!!

CAN I BE ABLE TO START A BUSINESS WITH A MANUAL MACHINE?

The answer is yes!

Infact it is very simple to start with a manual machine than the big mechanical machine.

The reason is that, the machine is very portable so you can use in on your site to manufacture blocks to sell to your clients or you can travel with it by bus to your client to make blocks for them on site.

The machine is affordable so you do not have to have a lot of money to be able to buy it.

The machine can be delivered via AXA parcel service or courier to you. So you do not have to worry about how you will acquire the machine.

It is very user friendly so anybody can learn how to operate the machine.

HOW CAN I START THE BUSINESS?

First you have to acquire the cement block machine.
Then you have to learn how to operate it.
Train your team how to operate the machine( you will need two people to start with.)
Open a page on Facebook and start to advertise yourself ( most of th cement block businesses have started from Facebook and WhatsApp business groups.

HOW MUCH MONEY CAN I MAKE?

An average 3 bedroom house uses approximately 3000 to 3500 cement blocks. So you can charge a client K100 to make a block for them on their site using their own materials. Infact you will only be charging them labour only. So you could be making K300,000 to K350,000.

The manual makes at least 300 blocks per day which is about K30,000 per day. The more blocks you make per day the more money you make because you save on labour salary

WHEN CAN I START?

Start now! This is the best time to start because government has banned use of burnt bricks in their projects and we have seen NGOs and Corporate companies following. Very soon government will ban burnt bricks completely. So you want to have established your name by the time this happens.

It's funny how things are working out. Because of the struggling economy, it is opening opportunities to some politicians.

Atupele and Muthalika have an appetites for a come back to politics. Because of the 50 + 1 voting system the next election will be a very open one. Unless this economic situation changes.

I can see Chilima jumping out of the ship soon. In fact strategically the sooner the better.

The next election will be an election of alliances...

We are going to enjoy a very interesting election in the near future. My vote I have always said is for hiring and firing...

The best thing that came out of the last election is 50 + 1 voting system...
