We are following Covid-19 social distancing and require masks when around others. But we are a Bed and Breakfast. One to Six rooms. King and Queen and Kitchenette variations. We always wanted to live somewhere near the sea in a beautiful area that was cool in the evenings. Because we are on a small Peninsula (or Banda in Spanish) that sticks about 12 miles in the Pacific it has the same climate as
an Island in the Ocean with the benifits of having a road back into civilization. We are next to the world famous "La Bufadora Waterspout" and shops are just a 25 minute walk to get there. Irene's "Breakfast Experience" is pretty special Healthy and very yummy, but watch out for the side "extra spicy" bowls of Serrano and habanero peppers to garnish your dish. You can sit on your private patio and watch whales and dolphins, Or come to any of our common patios and share with other guests. We now have a new "Ocean View Clubhouse" where you can listen to our 2000 plus vinyl record collection on a vintage record player or play board games or check our selection of video (VCR or DVD's), or local wines or beer, or sodas, etc. Outside you can challenge other guests to a game Bocci. You can walk the nearby trails and go down to one of the nearly private beaches and play in the tide pools or bogie board or short board surf on "Escondido Long Beach after climbing down a cliff with a rope (sounds worse than it is). You can fish from the shore or collect mussells or go to the Estero beach and hunt for shells or go clamming. There is horseback riding on the beach for $10 for an hour. If you liike swimming or surfing we can recommend the best spots. If you like to visit wineries and "taste" the selections or go to the hot springs. Go on Panga fishing trips or just stay here. So far our guest all want to stay and come again. And this may seem crazy, but...
when its hot during the summer where you live you can experience our cool ocean breezes and when its snowy and cold you can experience our fair weather and no snow. Last thing is that we are off the grid and are all solar electricity, truck in our water and gas, and our internet is on satellite. We may charge extra to cover our costs when some of these things are affected by your requests, but we publish those things on "our charges". thanks,
Bruce and Irene
