Today we honor the life and legacy of Francisco “Paco” Bulnes — a visionary, a pioneer, and the heart behind Rancho San Lucas.
Paco carried forward a family tradition rooted in leadership and innovation, helping shape the future of tourism in Los Cabos. From growing a hospitality company into seven renowned resorts, to launching the region’s first community radio station, “Churea,” giving a voice to local residents — his impact reached far beyond business.
He believed in people. In community. In creating opportunity.
Through his work with the Fundación, he devoted himself to supporting those most in need, always leading with generosity, kindness, and humility.
Rancho San Lucas was more than a development — it was a dream decades in the making. An extraordinary stretch of desert meeting the Pacific, envisioned as a place of beauty, integrity, and belonging. In partnership with his friend Greg Norman, Paco transformed that dream into a legacy — a community designed to endure for generations.
Today, we celebrate not only his birthday, but the values he built into this land and into all of us.
His vision lives on.
