I went grocery shopping today and WOW, I noticed that our "tab" was significantly higher than usual. I spent almost $500 for about a week and a half worth of food.

Not to mention gas is up and the cost of living has increased.

Unfortunately, wages have not kept up with the rising costs.

That being said, one of the biggest expenses we have is a mortgage. Refinancing only works if you have either equity (the amount between what you owe and what the house is worth) or closing costs money (typically 3-5% of the amount of loan you are refinancing. Example in a $300,000 refinancing you would need $9k-$15k on hand). And it only works if the current interest rates are lower than when you financed your home.

We're offering a free mortgage analysis. It's possible we're able to identify a way to decrease your monthly payment by anywhere from $100-$500 a month.

If we end up finding a way to reduce your mortgage, we won't charge anything.

What a crazy year for real estate it's been and it's barely April!
We have people switching brokerages left and right and advertising it like it's a Marvel Cinematic Universe trailer. Agents fearing AI would take over the industry. "Tech" real estate companies buying brick and mortar companies.
And to top it all off agents are realizing that getting deals done is not as easy as it was during Covid. Don't believe me? *Sheet with numbers based on MLS data below*
It sure doesn't help when the real estate company that calls you "family" charges you for the following
- Franchise fee
- Tech fee (for tech you don't use)
- Fee to practice commercial real estate, with a split going towards your mentor, even though your broker is already getting a split and should be teaching you
- Desk fee
- A split that never ends no matter how much you produce
- Rent on an office space you hardly use because all your appointments take place at the clients home if they are selling and at the lenders office for a buyer appointment
- Fee per page you print out at the office and a higher fee if it's in color
Needless to say, I've seen these and more during my career in real estate.
I've been with 4 nationwide brokerages and I've seen the same thing throughout. The moment you decide to switch brokerages or open your own business their tone with you switches as well. They decide that any business you built while you were with them belongs to them. The reward you get for giving them a heads up that you're switching is them cutting you off from the tech you've been paying for this whole time. Unable to recover the list of clients you've helped throughout the years.
I mention these things because I know that agents identify with the climate our industry brings. And many are tired of it.
And I want to offer The One solution!
