There is no secret here. The awareness is widespread here in Oaxaca,Mexico, Huatulco to Puerto Escondido, the community is clever and cognizant. Although the vacation and seasonal destinations on the coast of Oaxaca have grown in popularity, it is evident that many are warned, and take caution to avoid the money grabbing exploitation traps. Yes, even expatriates are scheming to take all you have. Our ever growing numbers of contributors have predicted and now see the forecasted reality. We have a vast array of wonderful people that share most important information, insights and opinion values. Our group only wants and seeks the best for all. From original loved valued admired and most respected residents to the new expats and returning vacationers, everyone’s journey and experience is essential to share.
Most recently we have been informed, almost on a daily basis, many, are leaving and separating themselves permanently distancing away from Bayside Real Estate and Bayside Vacations. The community saw this coming.
To be fair and supportive, try to find it within yourself to look past mistakes made by the employees being a part of Bayside Real Estate and Bayside Vacations. Unfortunately being subjected to the principles Erin May and Brent May, they now confess they had unfortunately and reluctantly abide by company prescribed guidelines and foced un orthodox obligations.

Yes, it is beyond disrespectful. But is shows the greed and arrogance they take pride in and rejoice. Such Shame.

Folks the complaints always come to the surface. Watch out for the dishonest ones. Stay away from having and adding a lawsuit when attempting to acquire a property or vacation rental.

This is Mexico, not USA. Mexico has its own currency, the Peso. Shame on Jane Bauer.
Soon, Jane Bauer will be demanding Euros or Kuwaiti Dinar for payment upfront that will leave you in disbelief and dissatisfied.
Stop feeding the expats that seek only to take the unaware for a ride. ( way overpriced rip off).

We are all from different cities in the states and Canada and the consensus is all the same.... they lie, lie,lie about everything from the accommodations to the amenities the condo units have.. Disgusting and untruthful lies just to get you to book with them. Two of the couples that have also been taken by this company also comment that their guest service and commitment to make it better for all the inconveniences they have incurred is terrible.
I also worked in the hotel, restaurant and hospitality field for 20 years and if any company treated their guests in this manner ... they would soon be closing their doors.
The only loyalty they have is to line their pockets.
The owner of this condo pays this so called company Bayside vacation rental to look after their condo while they are out of Huatualco from booking guests to making sure everything is in good working condition. Once they get your money they don’t respond to your emails or concerns about the condo. It’s easy to put your head in the sand and hide.”

* “My dealings with Erin May was a disaster. She lied to us multiple times about the condo we rented from her company. I had hip surgery 5 months prior to our holidays.. so we rented a main floor condo from Erin May. When we arrived we were on the 3rd floor .. no elevator and not the condo that she had emailed pictures to us in Winnipeg. Then after our first week in the condo we had NO water for two days. I emailed her and she told us the entire complex had construction and was shut off from the municipality. Lies lies lies... I went to my neighbor in the complex they had water and she translated the notice stuck between my door that bayside rental people did not pay the water bill for 4 months.. she is a compulsive lier and do not trust her. She is from Calgary and thought she would be respected.. honest and trustworthy.. what a mistake.. I could go on and on about the problems she has caused us on our vacation.. she says she looks after us Canadians.. it’s crap!! Please don’t use Bayside vacation rentals or real estate company.save yourself some heartaches, frustration and disappointment by not using them. I hope other people take note of these rip off artists. Please don’t make the same mistake as us.. we just want other people to be aware and not have the same disappointment.”

You are not only unknowingly financing the project, you are destined to be involved with an incredibly long, long wait (years) for the project to be actually completed, “if” it does get completed.” Lawsuits are abundant here in Oaxaca with false completion promises. Unrealistic embellished sales traps from the 3rd party sales profiteers. It is very, very bad. Warning to all.
