owntown and Playa Norte, at the beginning of the safe and charming neighborhood, Salina Chica, just past the airport and the college, Bachilleres. Within walking distance, you will find a tennis and basketball court, many local restaurants, stores, grocery stores and places to buy fresh juice, fruits and vegetables. It is easy to catch a taxi in front of the property to go downtown or to the beach. Parking is available for golf carts as well. La Hacienda is private, yet close to downtown where you will find many shops, restaurants, bars and live music. If you want to stay in the neighborhood and not go to town, La Hacienda is located within walking distance to many popular restaurants Coco Jaguar, Mango Cafe, Caribbean Brisas, Kash Keken Chuc and Green Verde, to name a few. We are located five minutes from the main grocery store on the island, Chedruai, which includes a number of important food items, a bakery, a nice selection of wines and liquors. Most people get around via bicycles, taxis, golf carts or the local bus. Guest can enjoy the pool/garden and rooftop terrace. Our pool is only for guests staying at La Hacienda. To keep the grounds quiet, safe and private, we do not allow use of the pool by people who are not staying at La Hacienda. The Mariposa Suite and Seahorse Suite (Sleeps 2 each). Extra large suite has a king bed and Mayan decorations make you feel you are right in the middle of Mexico while enjoying the luxuries of a relaxing vacation. The room opens to the pool, garden and BBQ area. It offers AC, wifi, private lock, and private entrance, mini refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. It is the perfect place to relax and within walking distance to the beach and great restaurants. These suites offer queen beds with Mayan decorations, make you feel like you are right in the middle of living in Mexico, while enjoying the luxuries of a relaxing vacation. This room has everything a couple would need, A/C, wifi, mini fridge, safes, private entrance, private lock, microwave, coffee maker, standup shower, and is right next to our community pool!
