Today is one of those days when your entire world comes to a complete stop. The kind of day when you receive the phone call no parent ever wants to get.
A moment when nothing else matters. It doesn’t matter where you are, what you’re doing, or what you have planned. The only thing you want is to get there as fast as humanly possible and be by your child’s side.
Today, that day came for us.
There are no words to fully express the fear, the helplessness, and the pain that come with knowing your child needs you and you’re not there in that exact moment.
From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank every single person who was there for my son when he needed help the most. To the school staff who cared for him, stayed with him, and did everything they could, and to the paramedics who came to his aid and took care of him—thank you. We will forever be grateful for your kindness, compassion, and quick response.
We sincerely apologize if we haven’t been able to answer your calls or messages today. Please know that it is not because we don’t appreciate you. Right now, our only focus is our son. We will get back in touch with everyone as soon as we possibly can.
For now, we humbly ask you to keep our son, Noah B. Melchor, in your thoughts and prayers. Please send him all your love, strength, and best wishes.
❤️🙏🏼 Please keep Noah in your hearts. 🙏🏼❤️
