I’ve Been Eating These Carnitas for 25 YEARS!

Looking for some of the BEST street carnitas in Mazatlán? You have to try this place!

Located on the corner right in front of the Pacífico Brewery, this man is a Mazatlán street-food legend. He has been serving his famous carnitas from this spot for almost 36 YEARS!

And I’ve personally been eating them here for more than 25 years!

There’s nothing fancy about it—and that’s part of what makes it so good. He chops up the fresh carnitas, adds salt, fresh lime and chile, puts everything into a plastic bag, then into a paper bag…and off you go!

Grab some fresh tortillas and make tacos…OR do what I do…Eat them straight out of the bag!

Simple. Local. Delicious. And a true Mazatlán tradition.

These are the little places I LOVE sharing—the ones you might drive right past if you didn’t know they were there.
