I decided to switch back to Gonzalez to honor my family's last name and to connect with my authentic self.

Carnaval starts tomorrow!

Mazatlan is in the final preparations for Carnaval starting this Thursday, February 12th through Tuesday, February 18th.

There are so many activities to paticipate in. One of my favorites is the "Combate Naval".

This is a live reenactment of the French- Mexican Naval battle with fireworks as the ammunition being fired off from the shore and the water. It is truly an experience that is hard to describe.

If you love fireworks this is a must see!
