Another box checked for expats in Mexico 🇲🇽

One of the biggest concerns foreigners have before moving abroad is healthcare. Yet in a recent survey of more than 700 foreign residents in Mexico, nearly 93% rated the quality of private healthcare as good or excellent, while more than 95% said access to care was easy or very easy. Many even reported receiving better care than in their home countries.

For years, this Pacific port was viewed primarily as a vacation destination. Today, it is evolving into something much bigger: a lifestyle-driven real estate market attracting buyers who want to live, invest, work remotely, retire, and spend extended periods of time here.

What’s driving the growth is not just tourism.

It’s quality of life. Enjoyment and connection.

Buyers are looking for walkability, ocean views, strong dining and cultural scenes, reliable healthcare, modern infrastructure, and a sense of community that feels authentic rather than manufactured. Puerto Vallarta offers a rare combination of all of those elements… and a very unique vibe.

The strongest-performing properties are no longer simply the most luxurious or largest developments. The market is rewarding projects that understand how people actually want to live:
