OFFICIAL SECURITY UPDATE – PUERTO VALLARTA IS SAFE
Following the recent federal operation carried out in the state of Jalisco, authorities have confirmed that the situation is under control and stability has been restored.
The National Guard, the Mexican Army, and the Navy are working in full coordination to reinforce security and maintain order. This was a strategic operation aimed at bringing key organized crime figures to justice.
Authorities have clarified that the disturbances generated by criminal groups were acts of desperation in response to the arrests. These actions were intended to create fear and project control. However, the operation achieved its objective.
It has been officially reported that there were no civilian casualties. The only losses occurred among military personnel in the line of duty, along with the deaths and capture of high-ranking criminal figures. The objective of this operation was justice, institutional strength, and the protection of citizens.
Today, Puerto Vallarta and surrounding areas are resuming normal activities. Tourism, real estate operations, businesses, schools, and airports are functioning as usual.
Federal forces remain present as a preventive measure to ensure continued stability. Mexico is reinforcing its commitment to security, transparency, and international cooperation to guarantee a safe environment for residents, visitors, and investors.
