JR was born in Mexico City and grew up and was raised in charming Cordoba, in the state of Veracruz. He studied Graphic Design and Art at the prestigious Universidad de Las Americas in the state of Puebla. Further training was in Los Angeles and San Francisco, CA at the San Francisco Art Institute and The Florence Studio under the auspices of Laura Thompson, renown Painter in Florence, Italy. JR has done interior design projects for some Villas in Puerto Vallarta along with prestigious Architects such Jean Claude Galibert and Ernesto del Castillo. He is an accomplished and internationally known artist, and has also lived in Florence, Italy, and Paris, France, Madrid, Barcelona and Sitges in Spain.
