rom Boca de Tomatlán to Yelapa… and honestly, this place feels like a little tropical escape.
This time, I took a panga from Boca de Tomatlán to Yelapa with my friend Jorge, and it turned into one of those beautiful Puerto Vallarta adventures that reminds you why this area is so special.
We walked through the village, explored the local streets, visited the waterfall, and of course, enjoyed some really delicious food. Yelapa has that relaxed, authentic, beach-town energy that makes you feel like you traveled much farther than you actually did.
Between the boat ride, the ocean views, the jungle, the waterfall, and the food, this is definitely one of the best day trips from Puerto Vallarta.
Would you visit Yelapa for the beach, the waterfall, or the food?
