Letter in support of Jennifer Mertus for Board of Directors Position

To Who It May Concern:

I am writing this letter in Support of the Election of Jennifer Mertus ( Condo D-202, La Jolla Del Los Cabos ) to the Board of Directors beginning with the New Election to take place on November 9, 2024.

I have known Jennifer through direct personal, telephone and email contact from the Spring of 2023 to date. I have encouraged her to run for a position on the Board of Directors for the upcoming term, in the election as stated above.

It is my understanding that Jennifer holds past and current positions on a variety of Boards, including those of Condominium Management and Administration in a number of states and circumstances in the U.S., and that she has both a vested interest and excellent qualifications to contribute greatly to any of the Board Positions which will be open in our complex here at La Jolla.

I have discussed Jenifer’s interest, experience and qualifications for a position on the Board of Directors with her at great length, and I would be honored to support her in any manner to secure and implement her role as such.

I find Jennifer to be a very intelligent, well-informed and interesting individual who is active in a variety of communities. As a licensed professional attorney, she possesses the knowledge of law in general, and the ability to apply that legal knowledge and training in the U.S. to understanding and legal clarification of the La Jolla De Los Cabos Condominium By Laws and the Condominium Laws of Baja California Sur. I believe Jenn will be a most effective Member of the Board for our Condominium Complex.

Letter in support of Pauline Lightfoot for Board of Directors Position

To Who It May Concern:

I am writing this letter in Support of the Election of Pauline Lightfoot ( Condo C-206, La Jolla De Los Cabos ) to the Board of Directors beginning with the New Election to take place on November 9, 2024. I have known Pauline most directly in the last year, as I have specifically taken the time to seek her knowledge of the history and By-Laws of La Jolla De Los Cabos, and I have encouraged her to run for a position on the Board of Directors for the upcoming term, beginning with the election as stated above.

Pauline has served previously on the La Jolla Board of Directors and has endeavored to offer her extensive knowledge of the By-Laws for our Association, as well as her understanding of the Condominium Laws of Baja California Sur.
I have discussed Pauline’s knowledge and expertise with regard to these governing principles with her at great length.

It is common knowledge that we have some very diverse opinions on specific issues among homeowners, and that Pauline has often expressed views contrary to the popular majority. As a specific point of view, I believe that diversity of opinion is beneficial to the overall governing body of any organization. A group that governs as representative of an entire population such as Members of the HOA of La Jolla De Los Cabos should be equally representative and non-partial to all of the body which they represent.

It is my belief that we, as Members of this HOA, have long standing issues that we need to deal with and resolve for the betterment of our residence as a whole, and I think that Pauline, as I have come to understand her knowledge and expertise, has much to offer our organization in this respect.
