El Templo de San Juan de Dios se encuentra en el costado oeste del casco histórico de San Miguel de Allende, en Guanajuato. En esta zona se encontraba uno de los hospitales indígenas más antiguos de la zona, a cuyo costado se erigió una pequeña capilla administrada por la orden de los Juaninos en la ciudad. En 1770 comenzó la construcción del templo actual bajo las órdenes del cura Manuel de Villegas. Si bien se intentaron mantener algunos elementos de la antigua capilla indígena, lo cierto es que en la actualidad no quedan más que algunas ruinas de aquella construcción original
