It has been about three years since I boarded an airplane. I couldn’t even really remember how to pack a suitcase - especially for a foreign climate. I remembered socks and so far the only thing I know that I forgot is my laptop. I was working up until the moment I left and forgot to bag it. This sucks because planning on working a little bit over the week but maybe it’s for the best. I haven’t taken a proper work free vacation in three years either. Or maybe I’ll buy a new laptop 😎

I already miss Wendy and our pack of dogs and pride of cats but I am comforted because I have a precious cargo with me. I’m a flight angel for a little Chihuahua Pug named Chuleta. I could tell she was terrified when she got handed over to me at the airport (see photo) but other than slipping out of her harness and streaking Bubba Gumps and pooping in the airport she’s been a super trooper.

I will be sorry to say goodbye to her when I meet her Foster family at the airport in Vancouver. She is for adoption and if you’re looking for a small dog with a big personality, please contact me. She is amazing.

I’m not sure when this post will actually go live because. I don’t have Wi-Fi on this flight, but I what I wanted to post before we took off was how amazing it is to be traveling and rubbing elbows with people from all over the world. The World Cup definitely has some people from countries we wouldn’t normally see. This flight has people from Korean Japanese, Germany, and people from the country formally known as Czech Republic (along with Mexican, Canadian, and USA).

It actually moved me tears. People are awesome. I love you world ♥️

This Saturday I'm heading back to Vancouver for a week of World Cup fun, soccer watching, and a mini boys trip family reunion with my brother and father.

If any of my Vancouver friends would like to join us for a brewery tour, tequila tasting, soccer watching, or simply catch up, I'd love to see you.

And if you've ever been curious about what it's like to own a home, condo, or investment property in Mexico, I'm always happy to talk real estate too.

Hello friends and fellow real estate fans,

I wanted to share news about a really amazing opportunity that just became available.

Last year, I represented a boutique condo development in La Cruz located about one block from the house we just built. The builders are actually the same team who built our home, so I know firsthand the quality of their work.

The entire development sold out during pre-construction, but unfortunately, one of the buyers has just had to back out of their contract due to financial difficulties back in the USA.

The developer is awesome and has agreed to refund the original buyer and is now willing to resell the unit at the original pre-construction price, even though construction is only a few months from completion (August/September).

The price is just over $5 million pesos ($290K USD / 395K CAD), which is a really excellent deal for a beautiful 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo - part of a 7 unit development with a shared pool in a great neighbourhood in La Cruz.
