🐢Sea Turtle Festival this weekend in the Riviera Maya!🌊

If you love turtles, nature, and local culture, don’t miss the 24th Annual Festival de la Tortuga Marina, happening October 23–25! The celebration takes place in three different locations, with something special each day.

📍 Friday, October 23 – Akumal | From 3 PM
Start at Parque Tsúuk, near the entrance to Akumal Bay, for a Maya ceremony. The celebration then moves across Highway 307 to the community dome next to the Delegación, with traditional dancing, games, and family activities.

📍 Saturday, October 24 – Tulum | From 4 PM
Meet at the corner of Avenida Satélite and Avenida Tulum for the sea turtle parade, which heads toward the Municipal Palace esplanade. Enjoy the community fair, turtle-themed films, photography, and music.

📍 Sunday, October 25 – Xcacel | From 2 PM
Head to the Xcacel area for a day of sand sculpture contests, workshops, games, films, music, and activities for all ages. The sand sculpture contest begins at 3 PM.

💚 A wonderful opportunity to celebrate our local culture, enjoy time with family and friends, and support the protection of sea turtles along our beautiful Caribbean coast.
