We are a young innovative company with huge potential and we have certainly made a strong presence in the property sectors with the completion of a series of projects in the first ten years of the 21st century. Our timely delivery of factories, residential and commercial units have helped contribute significantly to the economic development and social progress. Currently, we have an ongoing residential and industrial projects which will bring our company to greater heights. KEB Group is also in the midst of securing the 4 upcoming projects which consists of serviced condominium and apartment. OFFICIAL STATEMENT

PIPE BURST INCIDENT AT NETIZEN RESIDENSI, CHERAS

KEB Netizen Sdn Bhd (“Developer”) refers to the pipe burst incident which reportedly occurred on 6 May 2026 at Level 19, Tower A, Netizen Residensi on 6 May 2026 (“Incident”) as well as the related social media comments circulating.

We, the Developer understands that the Incident occurred pursuant to a pipe repair works undertaken by the Management Corporation of Netizen Residensi (“MC”), as informed vide a MC’s circular dated 3 May 2026. The Developer regrets to note the negative comments directed at the Developer despite the said works being undertaken by the MC which was formed on 29 November 2025 pursuant to the Strata Management Act 2013 (“SMA 2013”).

Pursuant the SMA 2013, the MC is responsible for the maintenance, management, inspection, and repair of the common property, including the piping infrastructure. Accordingly, the Developer wishes to clarify that it is in no way responsible for the Incident.

In addition, Netizen Residensi was designed and constructed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, approved building plans, and the requirements and standards imposed by the relevant authorities, including the issuance of the Certificate of Completion and Compliance.

While the Developer extends its sympathies to the affected residents, the Developer also urges all parties to refrain from speculation or the dissemination of inaccurate or misleading information pending the completion of the relevant assessments and rectification efforts. The Developer reserves all its legal rights in relation to any false or defamatory statements made against the Developer.

Nevertheless, the Developer remains concerned about the wellbeing and inconvenience experienced by the affected residents and hopes that the rectification work and recovery process by the MC will be completed as soon as possible.
