TERKINI: Kerajaan berhasrat untuk meneruskan projek Sistem Rapid Transit (RTS) antara Johor Bahru dan Singapura

Mengurangkan kesesakan Tambak Johor

Saban hari, lebih 300 ribu rakyat Malaysia berulang alik ke Singapura.

Bagi mengurangkan kesesakan di Tambak Johor dan Linkedua, Kerajaan akan melabur sebanyak RM85 juta bermula tahun 2020 untuk melancarkan aliran trafik kenderaan khususnya yang melalui Kompleks Kastam, Imigresen dan Kuarantin (CIQ).

Melalui peruntukan tersebut, 50 kaunter tambahan akan dibuka untuk penunggang motosikal serta kaunter imigresen dan Projek Lebuh Raya Utara Selatan (PLUS) juga akan ditambah baik.

Sebagai sebahagian daripada langkah jangka panjang untuk menangani masalah kesesakan lalu lintas, Kerajaan berhasrat untuk meneruskan projek Sistem Rapid Transit (RTS) antara Johor Bahru dan Singapura.
