INTEREST KAD KREDIT: SATU JERANGKAP SAMAR

Bila kita ada kad kredit ni, semua benda pun kita rasa mampu beli. Nampak iPhone baru, tengok harga, swipe.

Masa beli memanglah rasa sedap je, tapi nanti jangan pelik lah kenapa rasa macam susah nak habis bayar hutang-hutang tu.

Mana tak nya, tiap-tiap bulan bayar minimum je, bila masa hutang tu nak habis?

Ada sebab kenapa kita selalu letak kad kredit ni sebagai hutang jahat.

Setiap swipe yang anda buat, faedah yang dikenakan oleh kad kredit adalah dalam 15-18% setahun.

Kalau kira secara harian, 15% bahagi dengan 365 hari, bermakna interest rate sehari adalah 0.04%

Nampak macam sikit, kan? Tapi jom tengok kesannya:

Katalah hutang kita berbaki RM5,000, kita pulak dok bayar amaun minimum je tiap-tiap bulan 5% = RM250. Tolak bayaran tu, bakinya jadi RM4,750.

Cuba kita ambil balik faedah 0,04% tadi, kita kira secara bulanan pulak (30 hari). Dah jadi 1.2%.

Sekarang baki RM4,750 x 1.2% = RM57

Jadi jumlah hutang baru anda adalah RM4,807 (RM4,750 + RM57).

- Itu baru sebulan, belum kira setahun lagi.
- Itu baru interest, belum kira caj bayar lambat lagi.
- Yang bayar lambat, bank naikkan lagi interest jadi 18% setahun. Dah jadi 0.05% pulak sehari.

Sekarang kita faham kenapa bayaran minimum ni sebenarnya satu perangkap. Macam semut api. Nampak macam kecil, tapi sebenarnya banyak dan berbisa.

Itu baru contoh hutang RM5K, kalau hutang RM15K, 20K? Lagi bertimbun la cerita dia.

Jadi, kalau rasa hutang kredit kad tu banyak, kita kenalah latih diri untuk bayar lebih dari amaun minimum tiap bulan. Kalau sebelum ni kita bayar RM250, up kan lagi kepada RM500 sebulan.

Tak cukup modal nak bayar lebih? Cari jalan untuk tambah pendapatan aktif dan pasif anda, lagi afdhal kalau buat hustle income sekali.

Masa ini jugaklah kalau nak guna anda sepenuhnya. Beli rumah bawah median price, dapat positive cashflow, dapat cashback, guna duit tu untuk bayar hutang.

Masa berhutang memanglah syok, tepuk tangan dapat beli itu ini. Jangan nanti nak bayar, tepuk dahi pulak sebab pening kepala.
