Home Ownership Campaign (HOC) 2020-2021 is an initiative by the Government to stimulate the housing sector and help buyers in homeownership and it is open to ALL Malaysian individuals.
𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗙𝗜𝗧𝗦
1️⃣10% 𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩
You get to enjoy a minimum 10% discount on purchasing price of properties listed under the scheme.
2️⃣𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙢𝙥 𝘿𝙪𝙩𝙮 𝙀𝙭𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣
On top of the discount, you'll also 100% stamp duty exemption on Instrument of Transfer for any residential home purchase up to the value of RM1 million. For properties worth more than RM1 million up to RM2.5 million, you'll only need to pay 3% stamp duty on the Instrument of Transfer for the amount that's more than RM1 million.
3️⃣𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙡𝙤𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙚𝙭𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣
All properties within the scheme enjoyed a further stamp duty exemption on the Instrument of Securing Loan or in other words, the Loan Agreement fees.
𝗦𝗢 𝗪𝗛𝗢'𝗦 𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦?
1️⃣𝙈𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙨𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙣𝙨
Purchasers and co-purchasers must be Malaysian citizens.
2️⃣𝙋𝙪𝙧𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝘿𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙜𝙣 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙙
Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) must be stamped between 1 June 2020 and 31 May 2021.
3️⃣𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨
Eligibility only applies to those registered properties listed by developers within the scheme.
4️⃣𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙨
Purchasers must be buying the property for the purpose of residing within it only.
𝙒𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝙋𝙍𝙊𝙋𝙀𝙍𝙏𝙄𝙀𝙎 𝘼𝙍𝙀 𝙄𝙉𝘾𝙇𝙐𝘿𝙀𝘿 𝙄𝙉 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙃𝙊𝘾?
Registered residential properties with a value between RM300,000 and RM2.5 million. and must be registered with SHAREDA (Sabah), SHEDA, (Sarawak) and REHDA(Peninsular Malaysia).
