It is known for its Sungai Padas rafting, firefly river cruise, prosboscis monkeys and its Klias River forest reserve. B

eaufort is one of the transit town for the historical North -Borneo Railway train from KK to Tenom. Beaufort Square is situated in Beaufort South, an extension of the New Beaufort Townships. It is strategically located in the main access of Beaufort and Sipitang Township that connects the south western districts of Sabah as well as Labuan, Sarawak and Brunei to Kota Kinabalu.
