SHAREDA Engages with Jabatan Perkhidmatan Pembetungan Sabah (JPP Sabah)

On 27 August 2026, SHAREDA was honoured to be invited by Jabatan Perkhidmatan Pembetungan Sabah (JPP Sabah)for an insightful engagement session on Sabah’s sewerage infrastructure and services.

The session provided valuable insights into the current sewerage system, its coverage and challenges, as well as discussions on improving system engineering, planning and infrastructure to minimise issues such as flooding, water and sewerage overflows, and other related concerns.

SHAREDA appreciates JPP Sabah for the valuable knowledge shared and the opportunity to strengthen industry–government collaboration towards more sustainable and resilient infrastructure development in Sabah.

SHAREDA paid a courtesy visit to YB Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun, Deputy Chief Minister II & Minister of Finance, Sabah, on 10 August 2026.

The engagement provided an opportunity to exchange views on housing affordability, access to home financing and expanding homeownership opportunities for Sabahans, while exploring ways the industry can work alongside the State Government in advancing the Sabah Maju Jaya agenda.

SHAREDA Youth recently visited KTI's IBS Yard for a technical site visit, gaining a better understanding of the Industrialised Building System (IBS) and its role in modern construction.

The visit provided members with valuable insights into the manufacturing process, quality control and practical application of IBS technology, while offering the opportunity to learn directly from industry practitioners.
